Terms of service

Belief and Company makes keepsake voicemails that adults order for the kids in their lives. It is pretend, on purpose, and these are the rules.

What the product is

Every recording is a fictional voicemail performed by AI-generated character voices, and every file page says so. This is not a live call: nothing dials any phone, no one is on the line, and no recording is ever addressed to a child as a collection of demands. It is an entertainment product for your household.

Who may use it

You must be an adult. By ordering, you confirm you are the child’s parent or guardian, or an adult ordering with the parent’s blessing, and that you have the right to use the name you file. The desk may decline a name or an order; the name gate is part of the product working as intended.

Your files

A filed recording is available at its file page for 90 days, then it and the name on it are deleted under the privacy notice. Files are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use: keepsakes for your household, not material for anyone outside it. The recordings, characters, and site remain ours.

Payment

Prices are as listed and include any applicable tax. Payment is processed by Stripe under its own terms. Refunds follow the refund schedule, which is deliberately generous; if something went wrong, start there.

The fine print

The service is provided as-is, and we cannot warrant the conduct of any fairy. Our total liability for anything arising from the service is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of Virginia, USA. If something is wrong, write to hello@beliefandcompany.com first and a person will try to fix it before anything formal starts.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date below moves when we do. Continued use after a change means the new terms apply.
